Now you may be thinking...what is core? Core is a combination between history and language arts. For this class we have one teacher and she teaches us both history and language arts. In this class we sometimes combine history and language arts. Like our vocabulary words will be history words, and when we write an essay it could be about a time period in history. This class is very fun and it is cool to combine two different subjects.  I like being able to get to do to in one in a way.

 

In this class we are able to get to enjoy two subjects. I think this is a cool class because I feel like it helps me learn better. I got to practice my writing skills by writing about different times in history. Not only did this help improve my writing skills, but it also helped me learn about history. This class is a good way to learn two subjects. Sometimes you don’t even realize how much you are learning because it is a lot of fun.

My most memorable project of the class for me was our plays. I got to be Abraham Lincoln.  I had to memorize all the lines and dress up like him. It was really fun and I want to do more projects like it in the future. I liked it because you get to pretend to be somebody else. I thought it was really fun to be able to be a guy, even though I'm not one. It was kinda scary when we had to preform in front of other people though.  I hope that the next class gets to do the same project because I thought it was really fun.
